I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Long Tran’s show during New York Fashion Week. Both a runway show and a presentation, the new line called ‘Anonymous’ sought to impress from the moment the first model walked down the runway. Long Tran’s dramatic, avant garde style really is a pleasure to look at. I appreciated his use of bold, innovative shapes and the mixture of hard and soft fabrics, like leather, silk, wool and feathers. The show really had you thinking ‘how did he do that?!’ And further inspection during the presentation produced more marveling at his amazing techniques.
