Pretzel! The Concrete

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been living in New York City for almost 3 years. It’s even harder to believe that I’ve had Shake Shack’s burgers but have never tried their Concrete. Until tonight. I’m a huge peanut butter freak, and also a huge lover of marshmallow so when I read the description of the ‘Pretzel! The Concrete’ my decision was made. A Concrete, to put it simply, is dense frozen custard ice cream with mix-ins. Pretzel! The Concrete ($4.30) consists of chocolate custard, peanut butter sauce, chocolate covered pretzels and marshmallow sauce. If that doesn’t sound good to you then I don’t know which planet you’re on. It was the perfect treat on my walk home from work. Important note: if you’re only getting cold items such as the custard, get in the ‘C’ line so you don’t have to wait in the long line that winds out the door and halfway down the street with everyone else. Definite plus.
