Healthier Dessert Options From Beautiful Memory Desserts

Beautiful Memory Desserts, located in the New World Mall in Flushing, Queens, offers Hong Kong desserts that won’t leave you feeling guilty. Made fresh when you order, the desserts range from fruity to milky or both. I went with the Mixed Fruit with Coconut Sago ($7.25). A bit on the pricey side but considering we split it between two of us, it wasn’t so bad. The sago is mixed with coconut milk and then topped with fresh strawberries, mango, peaches, watermelon and kiwifruit and black and clear jelly. It made for a refreshing end to my Flushing lunch. I’m new to sago, I don’t think I ever had it when I lived in New Zealand. The sago they use in desserts looks like tiny pearls, mixed with water or milk, and sugar and flavors are then added. There are many things to choose from on the menu at Beautiful Memory Desserts, and if you’re in a group, they offer combos so you can try 3 different desserts.
