If you’re looking for a fast, yet healthy meal, you should check out Poke Bowl. You can create your own bowl with a big array of toppings or choose a combination from the menu. They have recently added cauliflower rice as a base, so if you’re looking to cut carbs, this is perfect.
For the base I chose zoodles (zucchini noodles), topped with fresh salmon and spicy salmon, scallions, cucumber, red onion, edamame, mango, masago, crispy onion, rice puffs, mushrooms and spicy ponzu. I highly recommend the spicy ponzu when you’re choosing your sauce, it’s so tasty! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious, I really enjoyed my meal here.
If you’re only feeling peckish, you can get the ‘Snack’ size bowl ($7.95) which comes with one protein. If you’re feeling like a decent feed, you can get the ‘Plenty’ bowl ($11.95) which comes with two proteins. Or if you’re ready to chew off your own hand in hunger, you can get the ‘To The Max’ bowl ($14.95), which comes with three proteins.
If you’re like my Mum, and won’t touch raw fish (let alone eat it!), Poke Bowl also has some hot options to choose from including teriyaki salmon, miso chicken and Korean BBQ pork. I will definitely go back to try these out.
