The days of bad bar food are over. You no longer have to sacrifice having a damn good meal when you want a drink or two. Case in point: Harlem Public. I have been going here for over a year now, and their food quality is top-notch. This Saturday I went there for lunch and tried the Fish Sando ($9.95). Harlem Public’s burgers are really good (the peanut butter one is a must-try), but I wanted something lighter and on the healthier side (minus the fries!). Sauteed tilapia, mixed greens, tomato and avocado ranch dressing make up the Fish Sando, all encased in a grandaisy sourdough bun. And if you want to be extra good and healthy, you can substitute the fries for a side salad. The fish was well-seasoned and the avocado ranch dressing complimented the fish down to a tee. A delicious (and less guilty) Saturday lunch!
