Wave Hill

I take so many photos sometimes they get overlooked and forgotten about. While looking through my collection recently I came across these photos that I took at Wave Hill. I found out about Wave Hill from my boss, who suggested I go there to take photos as it’s so beautiful. I took my friend Blanca with me and we had a fun time exploring the gardens and taking in all that gorgeous scenery.

Situated in the Hudson Hill section of Riverdale, New York, Wave Hill is a 28 acre estate and overlooks the Hudson River, with views out to the New Jersey Palisades. Wave Hill House dates back to 1843 and in the early 19th Century, many highly notable people stayed there. The estate was given to the City of New York in 1960 and is now a botanical garden and cultural center. If going to Wave Hill from New York City, you can take the 1 train to the last stop and then hop on a shuttle bus which will deliver you to its gates. Bring a picnic or you can purchase food at the cafe.
